NAME YOUR NEWSLETTER
Now, that we’ve our niche, let’s name our newsletter.
I’m going to keep it simple for this example, but you should put some thoughts into this and pick the right name.
I’m going with “Online Income Ideas”
I know it’s a shitty name, but you do a better job with your newsletter.
The name of your newsletter should be …
- easy to remember
- remark worthy
Now that you have a name for your newsletter, it’s time to build your sales page.
BUILD A SALES PAGE
Keep the copy of sales page simple.
Use the PAS formula.
- Problem – Layout the problem
- Agitate – Agitate until it really hurts
- Solution – Provide a solution
Keep it simple, clear and straight forward.
If you’re not good at writing copy, you can hire someone on Fiverr
Keep the price of your newsletter around $5 to $9/month
I know it’s not much. But start at a lower price point, add value, get positive reviews. Increase the price when you have enough reviews and subscribers.
Set your delivery schedule to ones/month or twice/month.
There’re no hard rules here, you can set your delivery schedule as you like. But, if you are charging below $10/month I recommend you to keep it at ones or twice/month.
It’s not a free newsletter. You’re going to charge upfront.
I know some of you may have doubts about charging upfront, but it’s possible and people will pay you if you can do a good job with explaining the benefits of your newsletter.
The goal of this whole paid newsletter is to build recurring revenue.
Plus, you can also sell your own products or affiliate products in your emails.
Tips: Give something of value upfront. For example, give away one of your ebooks for free immediately when they subscribe.
Promote your newsletter on your Twitter or Instagram.
DM people on Instagram & Twitter.
Pay big pages to promote your newsletter.
Ask big pages to promote your newsletter for a recurring affiliate commission.
Put a link to your newsletter in your profile bio on social platforms.
Share your offer on relevant Facebook groups.
Use Pinterest to get people on your sales page.
The conversion rate on the paid newsletter services is around 1 to 2%. I’m sharing this with you so you don’t give up on the idea after getting 50 visitors. It’s work and it is going to take some time.
Don’t give up too early.
Now that you have a few subscribers, ti’s time to send emails.
Send new online money making ideas to your subscribers as per your promised delivery schedule.
Make sure the content you send is super actionable and as detailed as possible.
Help your subscribers go from 0 to make money as quickly as possible.
This is work. Don’t take it lightly.
Don’t send fluff.
Only send practical, actionable ideas, or they won’t stay with you for long.
If you don’t have a lot of Ideas to send, I have a solution for you.
HOW TO FIND CONTENT FOR YOUR NEWSLETTER
Go to YouTube, search “how to make money online”
